iCubed’s final “Featured Researcher of the Month” for 2012 is Barbara-anne Martin. Barbara is a Research Associate in iCubed’s Global Vaccine Research and Development Laboratory. Her current projects include recombinant protein production (H.pylori) for mouse vaccine studies and DEC 205 antibody production for immunological studies.

Before joining the iCubed team in 2012, Barbara spent two years at EpiVax, Inc. where she provided biochemistry and immunological support for vaccine programs including HIV and tuberculosis. She also spent 16 years at Pfizer, Inc. conducting research on both infectious diseases and neurodegenerative diseases.

Barbara received her M.S. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Texas.
