Jeff Bourgeois named "Featured Researcher of the Month" (August 2010)

Jeff also took part in the TRIAD Summer Fellowship at I’Cubed. He points out that the hands-on laboratory training sessions were extremely valuable in increasing his understanding of factual topics covered in presentations throughout the training. In particular, completing the process of an ELISpot with the harvesting of mouse spleens was especially helpful in allowing Jeff to gain a larger perspective on the significance of the process.

Jeff feels he gained an immense amount of knowledge, experience and information through the daily tasks at I’Cubed working alongside Lab Manager Joe Desrosiers. He notes that his lab experience provided him with the resources and opportunities to increase his knowledge in the areas of ELISpots, flow cytometry, liposome formation and the H. Pylori project in general. Jeff says the summer was a magnificent experience and he is grateful to have had such a great opportunity.
