Sierra Valois is a senior at the University of Rhode Island, and is only months away from completing her Bachelor’s degree in Biology, which she will receive in May 2015. Sierra began working at iCubed in the Laboratory for Viral Immunity and Pathogenesis (LVIP) during the Spring semester her freshman year. During her time at iCubed, Sierra has gained an impressive skill set, including what she believes to be the most useful, fluorescent microscopy, which has become her specialty in the laboratory. After her graduation this spring, Sierra hopes to find full-time employment in a laboratory that can not only utilize her existing skill set, but also provide advanced learning opportunities so that she can expand her repertoire of expertise.
