According to a Rhode Island Department of Labor and Training report, only three segments of the economy have reported positive job growth since 2007 and two of them are Knowledge Economy sectors: health care and education. Even so, building a strong, vibrant Knowledge Economy in the current environment will take focus and perseverance.
