Angela Reslow named "Featured Researcher of the Month" (March 2011)

Angela is a staple in the iCubed laboratory. As an accomplished reseach associate, she dedicates her time solely to the DEC 205 project under the guidance of Dr. Lenny Moise, the project’s Principal Investigator. For more on DEC 205, click here.

Angela’s journey to iCubed began at the University of Rhode Island where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and later a Master’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science. Upon graduating from URI, Angela made her way to EpiVax Inc. where she worked as a research associate under Dr. Annie De Groot. During her time with EpiVax, she adapted and developed her skills in applied research and development in vaccinology. Then, in the spring of 2010, Angela made the move to iCubed where she continues to work diligently on DEC 205.

She also assists in lab applications and training during conferences and workshops including iCubed’s annual Vaccine Renaissance Conference and this past January’s Neglected Tropical Diseases Workshop. During the summer months, she mentors students through iCubed’s summer fellowship program where she continues to build a reputation as a “go to” person who’s always willing to lend a helping hand.

While it’s all science during lab hours, at home Angela is the married mother of two boys who keep her mind sharp!

For these reasons and many more, Angela Reslow is iCubed’s Featured Reseacher of the Month!
